Terms & Conditions

  1. APPLICATIONS
    All Bookings for Kung Fu Cleaning services are made on these Terms and Conditions only to the exclusion of any other terms and conditions, whether written or oral. No alteration to the Terms and Conditions is valid unless contained in a letter signed on behalf of the company by an authorised signatory.
  2. PRICING & PAYMENT TERMS
    1. Price Changes/VAT
      All prices are subject to change and inclusive of VAT. Existing customers will be given 30 days notice of any price changes.  Prices given are for a regular window clean unless specifically indicated otherwise.
    2. Payment methods & additional charges
      Customers may pay using the following methods:
      -Cash (no charge)
      -BACS transfer (no charge)
      -Standing Order (no charge)
      -Paypal (no charge)
      -Cheque (£2.00 handling fee)
      -Credit or Debit card (£1.50 handling fee.
    3. Payment timing
      Payment must be received by Kung Fu Cleaning within 5 days of the clean unless specifically agreed otherwise in writing.
  3. TIMING OF SERVICE
    1. Unless specifically indicated in writing, all prices & quotations are for regular window cleaning services.
    2. ‘Regular’ cleaning is cleaning on a 4, 8, or 12 weekly basis.
    3. We will book your cleans to coincide with those customers in your immediate area.  We are unable to provide regular cleaning for domestic customers on any other basis.
    4. The Kung Fu Cleaning company Ltd will call or text you the day before your clean, to let you know we are coming, on the number you provide us with.  Please ensure that you arrange safe access to your property by cleaning gates unlocked where appropriate.  If you do not arrange access we may either
      1. Not provide the services, but make the appropriate charge, or
      2. Clean the areas of the property we can gain safe access to and make the appropriate charge, or
      3. Where considered safe, use ladders to gain access to your property by climbing over your gates, fences, walls, or other.
  4. CANCELLATION /NON DELIVERY OF SERVICES
    1. Failure to provide access
      If Kung Fu Cleaning is unable to gain access to the property to clean as a result of customer failure to make reasonable arrangements for access, Kung Fu Cleaning will charge the full fee for cleaning.
    2. Customer Cancellation/Non Attendance
      Regular Clean Cancellation.  Regular Cleaning prices provided on the basis that at least two cleans will be provided. If the service is cancelled before two cleans have taken place, those cleans which have taken place will be charged at the full One Off Cleaning rate (minimum additional charge £25.00).
    3. One-Off Clean Cancellation. For cancellations within 24hours, 100% fee will be charged. For cancellations between 24 hours and 48 hours notice, 50% will be charged. If Kung Fu Cleaning is unable to gain access to the property, as a result of customer failure to make reasonable arrangements for access, Kung fu cleaning will charge the full cancellation fee.
  5. The Kung Fu Cleaning Company Ltd Cancellation/Non Attendance
    The Kung Fu Cleaning Company Ltd will not be liable for any delay or cancellation of the services caused by circumstances beyond our control (including but not limited to fire, flood, strike, exceptional traffic circumstances, illness, lack of adequate power or breakage or failure of machine or apparatus).  In such circumstances The Kung Fu Cleaning Company Ltd will use its best endeavours to arrange an alternative time suitable to both parties for the performance of its services.  Where The
    Kung Fu Cleaning Company fails to carry out an agreed service due to circumstances within our control, our liability shall be limited to providing the agreed service at no additional charge at a mutually convenient alternative time and in no event shall The Kung Fu Cleaning Company Ltd be liable for any other losses including loss of profit or consequential loss.
    1. Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000
      Where a booking constitutes a distance contract pursuant to the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000, you will have the right to cancel the contract within 7 days of the formation of the contract, but you will not have the right to cancel the contract where the performance of the service has commenced.
  6. WORKING CONDITIONS
    1. Health & Safety
      In order to protect our employees, they are instructed not to enter an environment they consider to be unsafe, dangerous to health, or inoperable for any reason, but are instructed to withdraw from the premises and to report the problem. In this event the customer will be charged 100% of the cost of the Booking.

  7. USE OF CUSTOMERS' EQUIPMENT
    Staff are strictly instructed not to use any of your personal equipment while at your home.  On rare occasions during first cleans we may need to top up with water from our customers hoses. We will always ask permission before we do this.
  8. LIABILITY
    Liability for death or personal injury
    Nothing in this contract shall limit or exclude Kung Fu Cleaning liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
  9. COMPLAINTS
    In the event of you being dissatisfied with the service you have received from Kung Fu Cleaning, you should contact the Kung Fu Cleaning Customer Service team within 2 days. Kung Fu Cleaning will endeavor to ensure that all your concerns and complaints are resolved quickly and amicably by our Customer Service team.
  10. COMPENSATION
    1. Window Cleaning
      Damage to/ Loss of Property. In the event of damage or loss as a result of negligence, the liability of Kung Fu Cleaning shall be limited (at Kung Fu Cleanings discretion) to repair or the replacement cost of the item, taking into account its age and condition. Kung Fu Cleaning shall not in any event be liable for any loss of profit or consequential loss.
    2. Claiming Compensation
      Any claim for compensation must be notified to the Customer Service team as soon as possible and in any event within 4 days of the damage occurring.
  11. USE OF CUSTOMER INFORMATION
    The information you give will be held and used by Kung Fu Cleaning to perform the business for which we are registered. This may include sending you details of Kung Fu Cleaning offers and services that may be of interest to you.
