Why don’t you squeegee off the water after you clean?

We clean windows with purified water.  This method of cleaning ensures a streak-free shine, without having to squeegee off the water after each clean.  For more information on pure water-fed pole cleaning, see our About Pure Water Window Cleaning page.

How often should my windows be cleaned?

It depends on where you house is situated – houses in high-traffic areas or those surrounded by trees & shrubbery typically need cleaning more often.  Most of our customers are cleaned once every 4 weeks, or once every 8 weeks.  Some customers find that they can get away with cleaning only once every 12 weeks.

I only want a one-off clean on a particular day – can you do this?

The majority of our customers have us on a regular basis (minimum once every 12 weeks) – to ensure they keep their windows clean all year round.  However, we can provide one-off cleans where required.

Can you let me know when you are coming?

All our customers get a free telephone call or text message the day before we come to clean them.  We can give you a rough idea of whether we are likely to arrive in the morning or the afternoon, but we are not able to give exact times.

Why do you charge for card and cheque payments?

The majority of our customers are able to pay electronically, and we believe that the saving to us of receiving payment in this way should be passed on to them.   Card & cheque payments cost us money & time to process.  In order to avoid covering these costs by increasing our charges to all customers, regardless of how they pay, we levy a charge only on customers who pay by methods which cost us more.  We believe that this is fairer.

If you are unable to pay electronically, but wish to avoid any payment charges, you can pay with cash on the day of your clean.

Can you come back and pick up my payment, or can I just pay you next month when you clean?

We offer several convenient ways of payment which are listed on our ‘How to Pay’ page, but we do not return to customers to pick up payment, and we are unable to clean again until the balance from your window clean has been cleared .
If you want to pay by cash, but are going to be out when we call to clean, you can arrange a safe place to leave the cash on your property on the day of your clean, and we will pick it up when we clean each time.
